Certificate trust warnings (a screen asking if you trust the pony certificate) are normal; tap "Install Anyway" to proceed. iOS users who see a "Untrusted Developer" message after adding pony to the home screen should go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and tap "Trust [pony's certificate]".

The pony app requests permission to store files on your device (for offline caching), access your device calendar (to set event reminders for live games), and send notifications.
